If in the first film, the hero is just a guy-athlete caught in a difficult situation, and in the movie there are such concepts as friendship, love, mutual victory of good over evil (plus it was all filmed in a dynamic form), then in the second movie from all this there were only familiar faces of the characters and nothing more.
Here is the hero of the ordinary guy-athlete turned into a terminator, normal scenario became a sort of script; many of the heroes of the first film shown briefly and vaguely - would be better if they did not show at all; and nothing new in the development of the main characters was not mentioned at all (Oh, excuse me, the transformation into a terminator!).
