Director builds the story so that initially actions monkey disgust and blame, but gradually the viewer gets used to their antics and even gets sympathy to the 'respectable' the residents of Florence. As a result, at first glance easy Comedy turns into a difficult life drama, it helps to reflect on their own lives.
