Review: Carpet asked the style of the room. Thought great hopes for this movie. Firstly, this is the movie, the Coen Brothers. Secondly positive rating reviews. Yes and still cool cast: Jeff bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and John Turturro. And he didn't disappointed me. The coens told about some kind of 'chuvake', the idler and the unemployed conducting his free time to bowling with your friends Walter and Donnie.
But one day a normal life 'guy' has changed, when strangers broke into it, and one of them pee on the carpet. As a result, his life is filled with lots of adventure.
'The big Lebowski' — very easy and funny movie with an interesting plot, good acting, especially liked John Goodman and his hero Walter, who is comfortable in any case, mentions the war in Vietnam.

Review: 'I am only sorry that was a hairdresser' (C) In spite of the fact that the film was released in 2001, had found out about him quite recently and because of the trailer (which reviewed the devil knows how many times in a row). The film immediately interested in, and it was not so much time before I watched it. Even in spite of the high expectations, as a result, he was very pleasantly surprised, but everything in order.
It's funny, but the first thing after viewing remember the tale of the crucian carp, who lived in his room and never let out head down, but in his old age decided to see the world, and as soon as the heat around the corner, and ate it at once. So here's the main character, was himself a quiet hairdresser, and he wants to one day change your life, and this is what came of it — in the movie and tell. And what about the movie? And here begins the most interesting. Everyone will see in this story something of their own. And, of course, acting. Definitely his best role was played by Billy Bob Thorton (in 'Bad Santa' of course he is a genius, but there is still more the better), the character ambiguous, but thanks to the excellent actor's game (and this is from a minimum of dialogues and with almost the same expression) causes the cause of empathy and during browsing become practically family. Strangely enough, the rest of the cast of in the background didn't look washed out. Very good Francis MakDormand. Another great role of Scarlett Johansson (but has not so many). Cleared the atmosphere and gave additional fuse film John Policies (very colorful characters). Well played Tony SHelub. Remember Richard Jenkins with very sad eyes.
Conclusion: the incredibly atmospheric and smart movie for multiple viewings. Like not all, but many will have to taste. And at the same time one of my favorite films of the Coen brothers (the second after the 'Barton Fink').

Review: The romance of sincerity Honestly — I don't like the works of Steven Spielberg. For me it has always been a kind of American Mikhalkov — Director who could do talented movies, but, often, this talent covering this layer of Paphos, that is simply no longer believe this film. Spielberg for me, as an interesting Director, there are only a few of the paintings and that is why, before watching the 'Close contacts…' I summoned all his skepticism. But, obviously, Spielberg early, Spielberg to 1993, it is a bit different person than the one, which we are accustomed to see in his later works. Especially the 'other' Spilber began to seem like after the 'Schindler's List'…
But 'Close encounters of the…' — this is not such a Spielberg, it's a completely different Hollywood — this film so filled with the romance, which makes us look at the stars, to believe that we are not alone in the universe…
Today the film looks a bit naive — a simple plot, simple scenario moves, although it is visible, that the shooting came on a large scale, fully working dvadtsatimillionnyiy budget. But in spite of that, the film is a sincere, shot enthusiastic people, people who 'want to believe', and you see it and also begin to believe. Such are the paintings penetrate deeper all, making dream.
