A powerful charisma of two world stars, well-established scenario and energetic dialogue sauced with a large dose of humor, that is the success of this film.
It is interesting to observe the contrast between the game naughty Natalie wood, dialogues which have crust sparks and restrained, childish naive Steve McQueen. Both were made here is not quite usual for themselves position. There is no fatal beauties and tough guys, and there are living people with their problems and concerns.
